UCL: Eden Hazard Apologises For Laughing With Chelsea Players Just After Real Madrid Was Eliminated.

When Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard in 2019, it honestly looked like it was going to be a match made in heaven.

It's always been Hazard's dream to play at Santiago Bernabeu and given his blistering form then, Real Madrid decided to go all out and get their man.

Nevertheless, two years on, expectations on the player are yet to be met.

Hazard have spent most part of his spell at Madrid treating injuries and undergoing surgeries.

In fact, to drive home the fact that Hazard has been largely disappointing since he joined the Spanish giants, he has scored just 4 goals for the club despite costing €100 million which could rise to €150 million if certain clauses are met.

The Belgian star managed to get in shape before the semifinal clash with Chelsea and featured from the start in the second leg played at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Although Hazard wasn't influential for his team, he still topped the table for Real Madrid players in distance covered.

But then, just when the match ended, Hazard did something which irked the Real Madrid fanbase and resulted in calls for him to leave the club.

Hazard was seen laughing with Chelsea players, some of which he spent years with.

This act obviously didn't sit well with Real Madrid's fans who criticised their record signing for what he did.

Eden Hazard has now apologized for his actions. See the message he sent to Madrid fans.

Hazard said he's sorry and it wasn't his intention to offend the fans, adding that it's always been his dream to play for the club and that he came there to win.

Going further, the 30-year old said the season is not yet over, so together with his teammates, they will now focus on La Liga.
